The Pickens refers to our Rodeo toe cowboy boot. This Rodeo style pull-up leather is a very popular style, simple and smooth. Pull-up leather is finished with a combonation of transperant waxes and oils giving the leather a very soft feel. When this leather is stretched or pulled the color moves and becomes lighter in the pulled areas.
 
Materials and methods we use:
Hand lasted pull-up leather for the vamp and counter.
We use a thick piece of bovine leather for the inner heel counter. The bovine leather is softer to the touch for comfort to the back of the heel. The thickness of the leather provides maximum stability and support along with preventing heel counter wrinkles and collapse.
Bovine leather outsole using good year welt method.
A light weight and extremly durable composite shank supported by wooden pegs and brass nails.
Full leather lined boot.
Traditional hard leather insole fully leather line with a removable cushioned leather and cork insert.
Deer skin boot shafts provide a great looking  higher quality premium leather boot shaft.
Hidden/covered inner-shaft seam for optimum comfort and to prevent leg rub.
Deer skin pull straps.
Leather stacked heel with soft rubber heel caps.
Embroidered shaft stitching.
